This question enters your everyday life for example by the stability and manipulability of coffee foam, toothpaste, or mayonnaise. The system has a crucial dependence on preparation. If the system is annealed the stress can 'overshoot' before it shear-bands. We prose models on: * How the system can nucleate a shear-band in a very stable system :footcite:`Popovic2018`. * How the system will spontaneously fluidise when subjected to a finite temperature :footcite:`Popovic2021a`. :octicon:`file;1em;sd-text-info` :download:`More... ` **Selected publications** .. footbibliography::
